Another factor that makes Scottsdale such a popular attraction is the climate; with warm weather year-round, tourists and locals alike can enjoy the many outdoor activities and scenery at any time.
The Scottsdale Arts Festival, which is held every March, is the oldest arts festival in the area. Proceeds go to support the Scottsdale Center for the Performing Art's education and community outreach programs. There are several famous art galleries in the area, such as the Bentley Gallery and Chiaroscuro. On a more specialized front, Scottsdale hosts the Barrett-Jackson Auto Show each January. With luxury and exotic car dealerships rarely found in the US, this is a huge attraction for car enthusiasts.
